Refund Policy

General Principle

Donations made to Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Junagadh are voluntary and are generally non-refundable.

Eligible Refund Cases

A refund may be considered only in genuine cases such as:

• Duplicate payment for the same donation by mistake
• Incorrect excess amount debited due to technical error
• Unauthorized transaction reported by donor/cardholder and validated

Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will normally not be provided for:

• Change of mind after successful donation
• Delay caused by banking network or payment gateway while payment is eventually successful
• Completed or scheduled seva/ritual where arrangements have already been initiated
• Incorrect donor details submitted by donor (unless transaction failure is verified)

Refund Request Timeline

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days from transaction date.

How to Request a Refund

Please send refund request by email with:

• Donor full name
• Mobile number and email used during donation
• Transaction date and amount
• Transaction ID/reference number
• Reason for refund request
• Supporting screenshot or bank statement (if available)

Verification and Processing

All requests are subject to verification with payment records and banking channels.

If approved, refund is processed to the original payment source only.

Typical processing time: 7 to 15 working days, depending on bank/payment gateway timelines.

Cancellation

Once a donation is successfully completed, cancellation is generally not permitted.

For exceptional circumstances, contact the temple office immediately for review.
